At Volunteers of America senior living and care communities, the health and safety of our residents, staff and extended community is of utmost importance. We’re working around the clock to monitor the COVID-19 vaccine situation and follow the current recommendations of the CDC and other state and local health officials on distribution efforts. We will continue to update this information as it becomes available.
There are two vaccines that have been approved by the Food & Drug Admnistration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). They are the Pfizer BioNTech and Moderna vaccines. Below are links to more information about the COVID-19 Vaccines. Note: These links are to external sites that are not part of nor controlled by Volunteers of America National Services.

Pharmacy Partnership Program
Volunteers of America National Services communities participate in the federal Pharmacy Partnership for Long-term Care (LTC) Program to facilitate safe vaccination of this critical patient population. Our communities are working with Omnicare a CVS Health Company and Walgreens. The pharmacy partner varies by location. Please contact your community to learn who is their pharmacy partner. For more information about the vaccine(s) from our pharmacy partner, visit their websites below.
