Skylar Clarkson, RN, BSN

Director of Nursing

Skyler has over 5 years of experience as a nurse. Prior to obtaining her nursing degree, she worked as a caregiver for over a decade. Most of her nursing career has been in director and leadership roles, primarily caring for the geriatric population. Her goal is to lead the nursing department by ensuring that compassionate, individualized care is provided to all residents while discovering ways to enhance residents’ quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and taking care of her two French bulldogs.

Casey Rieschl, RN, BSN

Assistant Director of Nursing

Casey began working in healthcare at the age of 16, with CNA experience in long term care, memory care, and acute geriatric psychiatry. Working with this population made her passionate about furthering her career in healthcare. Casey started working as an RN at Maplewood Care Center in 2019 while going to school to earn her BSN, which she graduated from St. Catherine University with in 2020. Shortly after she was promoted to TCU nurse manager and again now to Assistant Director of Nursing. In her free time, Casey enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at cabins, with her friends and family.

Culinary Services Director

Justin has been working in the food service industry for over 20 years. He started in healthcare about 8 years. Justin choose to work in the food services industry because he enjoys cooking and making people happy. In his free time he loves spending time hunting, fishing and golfing with his son Louis.

Danielle Koller, LSW 

Director of Social Services and Admissions

Danielle is responsible for the social services department at Maplewood Care Center. She has worked at Maplewood Care Center for 20+ years. She enjoys working with the staff and residents and considers them her ‘second family’. Danielle was fortunate to receive the 2020 Volunteers of America National Services Compassionate Caregiver Award. When away from her desk, Danielle enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her family.

Brian McKee

Director of Life Enrichment

Brian is responsible for implementing programs to enhance the quality of life and to meet each resident’s physical, social, cognitive, spiritual and sensory needs. His duties are to oversee the Life Enrichment department at Maplewood Senior Living. Brian enjoys going on community outings and scenic drives with the residents! Brian has worked with Volunteers of America for 23 years. When away from his desk he enjoys spending time with his family, 2 dogs and bowling.

Environmental Services Director

Todd has worked here at Volunteers of America National Services for over 15 years. His hard work and dedication shines in all the work that he does here at Maplewood Senior Living. In his spare time, Todd enjoys weekends at his cabin, traveling and spending time with his family.

Mai Pa Nhia Xiong

Business Office Manager

Mai has worked in Senior Living for 19 years overseeing and facilitating various Business Office duties throughout the years. Currently, she oversee all Business Office functions including, but not limited to: Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll, Resident Trust, etc. When outside of the office, Mai enjoy being in the great outdoors hunting and fishing, volunteering, and family gatherings to ensure work and home life balance.

Memory Care Director

Amber has worked in senior services for over 15 years. In her role, she enjoys finding creative ways to meet residents’ needs and honor who they are as individuals. She strives to create a positive environment while supporting residents, staff and loved ones on the memory care unit here at MCC. When away from her desk, she enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with family.
