At Sojourn at Seneca, we are committed to the care and recovery of your loved one. We’re a fully licensed, acute care hospital for older adults who require inpatient psychiatric treatment – and a secure, lovely and welcoming environment.
Our team of specially trained health care professionals collaborates with each patient’s physician to develop an individual treatment program, designed specifically for the needs of older persons. Mental health conditions are addressed, as well as medical conditions and medication management.
Families and significant others of patients are welcomed, and invited to participate in education and support of their loved ones. At Sojourn at Seneca, our approach to care grows out of respect for the human spirit. Compassion, empathy and personal attention are at the core of how we help individuals in treatment feel cherished, and at home. Our philosophy can be summed up simply: we care for those we serve like we’d care for members of our own family.
