The Preserve- COMING SOON

Volunteers of America is proud to announce that construction has commenced on our new skilled nursing and assisted living community, The Preserve.

The Preserve will feature 75 private rooms within a three-story, 118,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building and is slated for completion in 2019.

Resident units will be divided into four “neighborhoods,” each offering its own social, dining, and staff support areas. A dedicated memory support section will cater specifically to residents needing a secure living setting in addition to round-the-clock care and supervision.

“With more than 30 senior living and care communities throughout the U.S., Volunteers of America is a well-known leader in senior living, and we’re excited to bring that same level of medical care and compassion into Fort Myers,” said Kevin Ahmadi, area director of operations for Volunteers of America. “Over the years, we have been working in partnership with local care providers including Lee Health and Hope Healthcare on strategies to meet the growing needs of Lee County’s seniors. The Preserve will be a critical resource for post-acute beds, offering high-quality medical services, rehabilitative care and social programs to provide much needed access to the continuum of care in Lee County.”

The Preserve is the first building to break ground at Hope Preserve, a health care campus planned to include multiple facilities and organizations dedicated to caring for seniors and for people who are chronically ill.
